Section 3: PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Section 4: FIRE AND EXPLOSION Flash Point, °F (Closed Cup): 269°F Auto ignition temperature, °F: No Data Flammable limits in air, volume %: No Data lower Fire extinguishing materials: water spray, carbon dioxide, other: foam, dry chemical Special firefighting procedures: None Known. However, firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus to avoid inhalation of smoke & vapors. Unusual fire and explosion hazards: None Known Section 5: HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION HMIS Ratings: Health: 1, Flammability: 1, Reactivity: 0 SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Inhalation: May be irritating to the lungs and respiratory passages. Eye Contact: Irritation may develop following eye contact. Skin Contact: Irritation may develop following skin contact. Toxic concentrations are unlikely to be absorbed through the skin. Ingestion: Product is slightly toxic by ingestion. Irritation of the gastrointestinal tract may occur following ingestion. HEALTH EFFECTS OR RISKS FROM EXPOSURE: Acute: None known if concentrations are maintained below TLV levels. Exposure above TLV may result in transient reversible respiratory system and skin irritation, dizziness, difficulty in breathing, and unconsciousness. Chronic: None known. FIRST AID: EMERGENCY PROCEDURES Eye Contact: Flush immediately with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. CONSULT MEDICAL PERSONNEL IMMEDIATELY. Skin Contact: Flush immediately with water. The affected area should then be washed with soap and water. Inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth to mouth method. If breathing is labored, give oxygen. CONSULT MEDICAL PERSONNEL. Swallowed: If ingested, induce vomiting and CALL PHYSICIAN AT ONCE. CARCINOGENICITY: The ingredients in this product are NOT found in the following lists: Federal OSHA, NTP, IARC This product contains detectable amounts of a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. (California Health and Safety Code Section 25249.6) MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: None known. Section 6: REACTIVITY DATA Stability: Stable Conditions to avoid: High Temperatures. Incompatibility (materials to avoid): Oxidizing agents; Strong acids; Strong bases; Isocyanates Hazardous polymerization: Will not occur Conditions to avoid: None known. Section 7: SPILL, LEAK AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES Spill response procedures (include employee protection measures): Avoid breathing fumes - use adequate fresh air supply. Preparing wastes for disposal (container types, neutralization, etc.): Spread with absorbent material and shovel into sealable container. NOTE: Dispose of all wastes in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Section 8: SPECIAL HANDLING INFORMATION Ventilation and engineering controls: Outdoors: Close all air intake vents on air handling equipment on buildings. Indoors: Use local exhaust if aerosol is generated. Respiratory protection: Fresh air full face mask or hood with fresh air source. Eye protection: Safety goggles. Gloves: Chemically resistant plastic or rubber. Other clothing and equipment: Fabric coveralls & rubber apron. Work practices, hygienic practices: Restrict access of non-application personnel. Other requirements: Store in original containers away from heat & moisture. Store indoors between 50°F and 75°F. Open containers carefully to allow any pressure buildup to be vented safely. Protective measures during maintenance of contaminated equipment: Fabric coveralls, safety goggles, chemically resistant gloves, and fresh air full face mask.
