Section 3: Hazards Identification - EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Eye contact can cause mild irritation. Vapors may accumulate in confined, poorly ventilated, spaces causing irritation; or at high concentrations asphyxiation.
Amber Liquid; Low Odor; Colorless Vapors.
HMIS Ratings: Health: 2, Flammability: 1, Reactivity: 1
POTENTIAL ROUTES OF ENTRY: Eye = yes, Skin = yes, Inhalation = yes, Ingestion = not likely
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
Eye: Contact may cause mild irritation. Extended exposure to low concentrations of vapor may produce oil film causing brief dimness of sight. This symptom is temporary and has no known residual effects. The risk of exposing the eye to dangerous concentrations of vapor in well ventilated work situations is minimal.
Skin: May cause mild irritation.
Inhalation: Vapors or mists may cause irritation of respiratory tract. Vapor accumulation in poorly ventilated spaces may displace breathing air, causing drowsiness or possible asphyxiation. Chronic exposure may cause sore throat, cough, tightness of chest, and/or shortness of breath.
Ingestion: Should pose no significant hazard while following good work practices during normal industrial use.
Ingestion of large amounts may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort and diarrhea.
Cancer Information: No primary components of this product are listed by NTP or IARC. No primary components of this product are regulated OSHA carcinogens.
Medical Conditions Which May Be Aggravated: May generally aggravate skin disorders.

Section 4: First Aid Measures
EYE: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart while flushing to rinse entire surface of eye and eyelids with water. CONSULT WITH TRAINED MEDICAL PERSONNEL.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contamination from skin immediately by washing with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing. Consult with trained medical personnel if contact has been widespread or prolonged, if patient experiences symptoms of skin absorption, or if irritation persists.
INHALATION: Move patient to fresh air. If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. Get medical attention. Oxygen may be given by qualified person if breathing is difficult.
INGESTION: Consult physician or poison control center. Follow instructions of medical personnel.

Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures
FLAMMABLE PROPERTIES:

| Lower Explosive Limit (LEL): |
7.1% |
| Upper Explosive Limit (UEL): |

| (Flammable Limits = Vol. % in air by ASTM-E) |
Extinguishing Media: Water Spray, Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Alcohol Foam
Fire Fighting Instructions: As with any fire, wear approved self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure demand mode and full protective gear.
Hazardous Combustion Products: Products of combustion may include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, hydrocarbons, and ammonia.
Unusual Fire And Explosion Hazards: May decompose during contact with flame or heat releasing irritating, toxic and corrosive gases. Closed container may explode when heated due to rising pressure. The component 1,1-Dichloro-1-Fluoroethane may break down into toxic gases such as hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures.

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS
Follow standard industry practices for cleaning up hazardous chemical spills. There are no product specific techniques or recommendations known for cleaning spills of this material.
GENERAL SPILL RESPONSE CONSIDERATIONS
Remove ignition sources. Stop leak if qualified and able to do so safely. Dike spill to prevent spreading into soil, sewage or other drainage systems, or bodies of water. Secure spill area. Open enclosed spaces to outside atmosphere. Be aware that vapors may tend to collect in low out of the way places. Use non sparking tools and equipment when spill poses a flammability hazard.
Cover with inert material to absorb. Collect all contaminated material and place in container for proper disposal.
Always use proper personal protective equipment when cleaning-up spills.

Section 7: Handling and Storage
Practice reasonable care and caution in handling this material. Keep containers tightly closed. Store in a cool dry ventilated area away from incompatible materials (see section 10), and sources of ignition. Protect from physical damage. Secondary containment is recommended to minimize impact of an accidental release. Open containers carefully to allow any pressure build-up to vent safely. Do not get in eyes or on skin. Avoid breathing vapors. Read label before use. "Empty" containers may contain hazardous residue and should be handled and disposed of properly.

Section 8: Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Ventilation: Good general dilution ventilation matched to the conditions of product use is recommended to help minimize potential exposures. Activities that generate aerosols are better controlled by local exhaust ventilation. When used outdoors, stay well away from building air intakes or close the intakes to prevent product from entering building.
Respiratory Protection: Use a NIOSH/MSHA approved, air supplied respirator if there is potential for uncontrolled release, where exposure levels are not known, or any other circumstances where air-purifying respirators may not provide adequate protection.
Eye /Face Protection: Wear chemical goggles (or safety glasses with side shields), and a full face shield.
Skin Protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves and boots, (butyl rubber or neoprene). Clothing should be appropriate for the risk of exposure such as fabric coveralls and rubber apron.
