Section 3: Hazards Identification
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Aqueous solution; non-flammable; very slight odor. Eye and Skin contact non-irritating. Inhalation hazard generally considered very low. Hazard from ingestion of a very small quantity considered very low.
NFPA: HEALTH: 0, FLAMMABILITY: 0, REACTIVITY: 0
POTENTIAL ROUTES OF ENTRY INCLUDE - Eyes, Skin, Inhalation, and Ingestion.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
Eye: Human experience indicates that Acrycat-blue/green/red is not an eye irritant.
Skin: Human experience indicates that Acrycat-blue/green/red is not a skin irritant.
Inhalation: If irritation develops remove to fresh air.
Ingestion: Considered non-toxic food chemicals and generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
Cancer Information:
None of the components are listed by NTP or IARC.
None of the components are regulated OSHA carcinogens.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: None identified. Handle with reasonable care and general industrial hygene.

Section 4: First Aid Measures
(See Section 11 Toxicology for information on toxicity.)
EYE: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart while flushing to rinse entire surface of eye and eyelids with water. If any irritation is present or persists, consult with trained medical personnel.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contamination from skin by washing with plenty of soap and water.
INHALATION: In the event that an exposure should occur, move patient to fresh air. If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. Get medical attention.
INGESTION: Metabolized in normal digestive pathways and generally recognized as safe by the FDA.

Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures
Flammable Properties: Believed to be Non-Flammable
Flash Point: None by Tag closed cup
Auto-ignition Temp: Not applicable
Lower Explosive Limit (LEL): Not Tested
Upper Explosive Limit (UEL): Not Tested
(Flammable Limits = Vol. % in air by ASTM-E)
Extinguishing Media: Use appropriate extinguishing media for surrounding fire.
Fire Fighting Instructions: As with any fire, wear approved self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure demand mode and full protective gear.
Hazardous Combustion Products: None specifically known. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide anticipated.
Unusual Fire And Explosion Hazards: Material may splatter at temperatures above 212°F. Pressure inside closed containers may increase due to heat.

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS: Follow standard industry practices for cleaning up chemical spills. There are no product specific techniques or recommendations known for cleaning spills of this material.
GENERAL SPILL RESPONSE CONSIDERATIONS: Remove ignition sources. Stop leak if qualified and able to do so safely. Dike spill to prevent spreading into soil, sewage or other drainage systems, or bodies of water. Secure spill area. Open enclosed spaces to outside atmosphere. Be aware that vapors may tend to collect in low out of the way places. Cover with inert material to absorb. Collect all contaminated material and place in container for proper disposal. Always use proper personal protective equipment when cleaning up spills.

Section 7: Handling and Storage
Practice reasonable care and caution in handling this material. Keep containers closed. Store in a cool dry ventilated area. Protect from physical damage. Secondary containment is recommended for large volume storage to minimize impacts from an accidental release. Open containers carefully to allow any pressure build-up to vent safely. Do not get in eyes and avoid skin contact. Avoid breathing vapors.

Section 8: Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Ventilation: Good general dilution ventilation matched to the conditions of product use is recommended to minimize potential exposures. Activities that generate aerosols are better controlled by local exhaust ventilation.
Respiratory Protection: Respiratory protection is not normally required for this product when ventilation is provided as described above. Should workplace conditions warrant the use of a respirator, ensure all requirements set forth under OSHA's 29CFR 1910.134 on respiratory protection are met. A NIOSH/MSHA approved air purifying respirator with ammonia or organic vapor cartridges may be appropriate under certain circumstances. A respiratory equipped with combination ammonia/organic vapor cartridge would be more suitable when available.
Eye/Face Protection: Wear chemical goggles or safety glasses with side shields. Where splash or aerosol generation is anticipated use goggles in conjunction with a full face shield.
Skin Protection: Worker clothing should be appropriate for the risk of exposure. Fabric coveralls and leather work gloves are recommended as minimum protection from skin contact.
